Start high over the Bay with the bridge dead ahead, then dive for the 4,200-foot main span: between the towers, beneath the deck, above the swells. Miss, and you're straight back in the air.
You start high over the Bay, a mile or two out and pointed at the gap. Dive below the deck — 220 ft above the water at mid-span — and pass between the towers. Watch for ships in the channel.
Touch: drag anywhere on the left half of the screen to fly, and slide the bar on the right for throttle. Gamepads work too: left stick, triggers for throttle, bumpers for rudder.
Challenges. Fireworks: rings show where shells will burst, and turn solid red when you're headed into one. Air Race: pass between each pair of pylons, below their tops; the clock starts at gate 1. Busy Sky: diamonds mark the other aircraft. Close calls score bonus points.
Style. Skim the swells, scrape the deck, pass knife-edge or inverted, or roll on the way in (flight assist off). The truly bold thread a tower: through a portal between its legs, above the roadway. Medals grade your style points: bronze for any pass, silver from 1,500, gold from 2,100. Your best line flies with you as a ghost.
